Lily Allen Opens Up About Miscarriage & Eating Disorder

British singer Lily Allen has opened up about her devastating miscarriage at six months into her pregnancy last fall for an upcoming documentary.

Singer Lily Allen is opening up in an upcoming documentary called ?Lily Allen: Riches to Rags?, where she discusses her devastating miscarriage and also reveals she has an eating disorder.

?It was a really long battle ? and I think that kind of thing changes a person,? Lily said of losing her unborn son.

This was Lily?s second loss of a child in two years.� She also suffered a miscarriage in 2008.

The singer also talks about her struggle with bulimia, saying, ?I used to vomit after meals. It?s not something I?m proud of,? she admits. ?But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I?d be on the cover of every magazine. I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn?t happy, I really wasn?t.?

Lily adds, ?I?m a pop star, not a model. Don?t make me feel s*** for not being really skinny and having an eating disorder.?

But Allen?s life is looking up and she is planning her wedding to beau Sam Cooper.� The couple became engaged in December and will marry this year.

Allen has revealed that Chanel will be designing her wedding dress.
