Scarlett Johansson is featured on the cover of the new Valentine’s Day-themed February issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine! In her HB coverstory, Scarlett reveals that she and hubby Ryan Reynolds are not planning on spawning anytime soon.

Johansson says that she finds the baby rumors hilarious.“I got these calls that I was engaged way before it happened. I’ve also been pregnant several times. With, like, sextuplets. That must mean I’ve been eating way too many bagels or something.”

The 24-year-old also talked about her engagement to hubby Ryan Reynolds, as the two were hitched in September of 2008.

The “Other Boleyn” beauty explained the proposal, saying, “I wasn’t surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight. You say you can’t believe it, but of course, you really can.”

Although she’s finding time to make marriage work, she says she will not be taking a break from her career.

“Every actor wants to work on a Western. I would run a brothel, like a madam or something. I’m working with what I got. It’s only so long that people are going to want to see me in a corset. So I might as well do it now,” she explains about her most wanted movie roles.

Eva Mendes: 'I Didn't Mind Stripping in The Spirit'

Eva Mendes had no qualms about stripping off for her role in new movie The Spirit - because it meant she was able to play a tough girl.

The actress, 34 - who plays Sand Saref in director Frank Miller's new film noir - insists walking around in the buff wasn't an issue because she was playing her dream character.

Eva explains, "She's so kick-ass in every way. She's such a smart dame, that part of her sexuality, part of getting what she wants, is turning up the sex. So yeah, I had no problem with taking my clothes off for this role."

The Spirit - which also stars Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson - was released in December 2008.

Eva Mendes Blasts "Sexist" Hollywood

Eva Mendes insists she has never had a "negative situation" with a female co-star, even though she often has to deal with media reports to the contrary.

The We Own the Night actress, 34, believes the American film industry is sexist - because male actors never have to deal with rumors of feuding with same-sex co-stars.

Eva - who stars alongside Scarlett Johansson, Jaime King and Paz Vega in Frank Miller's avant-garde film noir The Spirit - insists there was no tension amongst the cast while filming, and is bored of rumors suggesting otherwise.

She explains, "I know how people like to believe that, but it's a very sexist way of thinking. Nobody ever asks that when men work together in an ensemble cast. I've been in the business 10 years and I've never had a negative situation with another actress - ever."

Eva Mendes made a huge stir this year when she posed nude for Calvin Klein ads that censors deemed too hot for American television. And as jewel thief Sand Saref, she heats up "The Spirit" — literally.

In an interview with Moviefone, she says Scarlett Johannson is sweet, maternal and amazingly sexy. She reveals that she finds nudity beauriful and tasteful — but only on a natural body. And she thanks Jennifer Lopez for breaking stereotypes about Latino women and opening a lot of doors.

About working with Scarlett Johannson:

She's very sweet, and she's very maternal. And of course, she has this amazing look of just being completely, not only beautiful, but extremely, extremely sexy. She just oozes sexuality. Yet there is such a maternal quality in her that is so beautiful that I think people would be kind of surprised and impressed by. And she's smart, but I think you can tell that she's smart. She's a smart cookie.



About that Calvin Klein ad and nudity in general:

I think we're a bit conservative when it comes to nudity and sexuality. And it's so funny because I'd much rather see a beautiful nude of a woman than see these girls with these Triple-D fake boobs in a bikini. To me, that's more vulgar than seeing a beautiful nude of a natural body. ... I'm not against fake breasts at all; I'm not against augmentation. But I think when you get to that point of vulgarity where it's not in proportion, that's more vulgar to me than a beautiful nude.


On nudity in films:

If I'm going to be emotionally naked, sometimes a script will call for me to be physically naked as well. I would never frown upon it. And I think in Hollywood some actresses do frown upon it. They say it like an honor: "I would never do nudity!" And it's like, oh come on! I'm an actress, you know, I'll do what it takes to make my part as honest as it can be.


On Latinos being underrepresented in Hollywood (and how Jennifer Lopez is helping to change that):

When I started in the business 10 years ago, it was pretty pathetic as far as every time I went out for a role in an audition, they really did ask me to do it with a Spanish accent. And I did because I needed work and I was starting out. And there were hardly any roles. But I think I've seen so much progress in the last 10 years... in the last 5 years. ... I have to thank people like Jennifer Lopez, who is definitely a beautiful Latin woman, but she's American. I think she was a pioneer as far as breaking down those stereotypical walls, and I think it's getting better and better as far as the quality roles, absolutely. Now I just need to see more Asian people being represented.

The Hollywood stars share a red-hot scene in a red-lit photography dark room in Woody Allen’s ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’, according to U.S reports.

Scarlett Johansson was so insecure about having her bum on show in the opening sequence to hit film 'Lost in Translation', she resorted to bribing the artistic director to make it look flattering.

The award-winning actress, who plays a Lolita-type temptress in the 2004 production, told the man in charge of the slow, lingering sequence panning over her semi-transparent knickers, to make her bum look pretty - or he would lose his job.

She says, "I told the director of photography that if he made my arse look bad he'd never work again!

"He was like, 'I promise you - it will look really nice.' I said, 'OK, I'm trusting you,' and he came through. My arse looked OK."

Ryan Reynolds gets an unusual gift

Scarlett Johansson has reportedly given boyfriend Ryan Reynolds her wisdom tooth for his birthday. The Smokin Aces star turned 31 on Tuesday but Scarlett, 22, held an early celebration for him at LA's Chateau Marmont hotel last week. At the dinner, Scarlett presented Ryan with the unusual gift.

'She'd just had her wisdom teeth removed, so she had one dipped in gold and strung on a necklace for him,' a source tells E!.

Generous Scarlett is also said to have paid for hunky Ryan to have a full body massage, but her spokesman has not confirmed the gossip.

'Scarlett was out of town for Ryan's birthday but she gave him a gift this weekend in private,' says the actress's rep. 'There was no one else there.'
