Having fun with PAPER!!!

Good Evening Everyone…and Happy Tuesday……LOL…..I had fun playing with some paper to work on an ATC swap for my SCALSocial Group….You could make it any way…you just have to be sure to use your Cricut or cutting machine in making it!!!

Since it’s Valentine Season I decided to make a Valentine themed ATC……I love hearts and love red!!!!  And one of my online ARTist friends creates some AMAZING cut files…..His name is Paulo…..I’m SURE you’ve probably heard of this awesome fella!!!!!  If you’ve not seen his blog you MUST check it out…. http://scale-files.blogspot.com/ I decided to use his Cupid file….I LOVE the file…. I will say I did have to alter it a bit because I made it rather small…..but It’s still clearly his Cupid Design…..All of his files are so wonderfully made and he puts alot of time and love into them!!!!!!

So here’s my finished ATC….

PDC SCALSocial ATC Swap 1-2010 PDC SCALSocial ATC Swap 1-2010 (2) PDC SCALSocial ATC Swap 1-2010 (3) The way I altered his is I cut off the ribbon portion of his design because the pieces came out so small since I sized the Cupid to fit on an ATC …..and I used doll hair instead of the paper hair as well as put glitter on the wings……The heart cut out background is a file I created….I’m showing the file below and if you would like to have that file you’re more than welcome to click the image below and it will take you to the page on My Website to download it….

I’m really happy with the way this turned out and THANK Paulo for his generosity and his amazing files!!!!!

PDC Heart Cutout Mat 1-12-2009Then……..a couple weeks ago I purchased the ITop Brad Maker….it’s a pretty cool tool to make custom designed brads in 3 different sizes…..well…I decided to create the template for the paper to use in making the custom designed brads……so that I could cut them with my Cricut……..I’m showing you a picture of how the file cuts and turns out when used…….

It’s so fun to create something that you can use over and over and over……and wouldn’t these also make some cute flowers just like they are!!!!!!

Okie Dokie….guess it’s time for me to go nite nite!!! Definately need my beauty sleep!!! ;)  I, as always, want to THANK YOU for stopping by to visit with me!!!!  It always means so much to me!!! I do hope you will all come by again and I hope you all have a VERY BLESSED Wednesday!!! Until next time….
