One of the swaps I decided to start with is an Image Swap I'm hosting....the idea of the swap is to use an image that is selected for that month's swap.....You can do ANYTHING you desire to this image and create ANYTHING you want to create.....so this month I decided the image said..."make me a magnet"....LOL...so that's what I did.....I decided to make a friendship magnet....here's what I did...
The size is approx. 4 x 5......I of course had to give it some 3D embellishment to this magnet...I just can't seem to leave anything alone LOL.....so the two main roses on the image I gave some texture to.....and a touch of glitter... :) added some ribbon to the bottom and cut out some more of the small roses and gave them a raised look on top of the ribbon....trimmed the edge with lace and then a frame of fancy trim......took a couple of flower petals from an old wreath I have and used a rhinestone brad in the center...I decided the flower needed some "bling" so I added some glue to the edge of the petals and sprinkled some brownstone Martha Stewart glitter on the glue.....Just allows the flower to pop a bit...stippled around the white border with a bit of peel green and vintage photo Distress ink.....I also added the phrase to the image as well...I felt it had a nice warm message....There you go..that's my creation from the Image Swap..I do hope whoever ends up with this will enjoy it!!!!
Now on to my next task...hummmmmm, what to do what to do.....until next time.........
