Hey Everyone....

WOW it's been a rainy day here today!!!!  I didn't work today as I had an appointment I had to go to so I was able to come home after the appointment and work on some swaps I needed to get completed.......The first one was for a Playing Card Swap (Ace of Spades) for my group ARTHaven Creations & Friendships
and for a Quiltie Swap for the same group........Just thought I would share with you what I created.....

This first one is the Playing Card (Ace of Spades was the theme for this one).......while creating the card I decided to create my own "spade" file for the center embellishment (the middle of the spade I created was a modified file from one and AMAZING ARTist Paulo   http://scale-files.blogspot.com/ created several months back!!!!......I designed the decorative layer and then made a shadow layer behind it.......I cut the shadow layer with some crayon paper I also had made several months back......gives such a nice marbelized affect.........crayon paper is SO much fun to make too......

Then the next creation I needed to make was the Quiltie.......The theme was to be a bit about myself.....something of which I'm never comfortable about doing....talking about myself......but this is what I came up with....It's alot out of my realm of comfort but hey, sometimes you have to come out of your box right........
