Cheryl Cole is feeling competely 'used and abandoned' by both Simon Cowell and Derek Hough
Cheryl Cole is hiding herself away in the US - and who could blame her?
Her role in the US X Factor has yet to be confirmed and she's upset about her brother Andrew being jailed last week, despite all her efforts to get him back on track.
'On top of that she?'s had to cope with a slap in the face from Elton [John] - who called her music "crap",' says Now's source.
'Add to that Simon [Cowell] being too focused on his big deal with the US X Factor producers Fox to take her calls, she's feeling completely used and abandoned.'
Although Cheryl's other brother Garry's with her in the US, he's been partying in Las Vegas with confidant Derek [Hough].
Mum Joan's had to drop everything to fly out to help support her daughter after a series of troubling late-night calls.
'Cheryl, who's been crying herself to sleep, told Joan if she couldn't get there she'd be forced to call Ashley,' says our insider.
'What her mum doesn't realise is she's already in constant touch with her ex-husband as he's really the only one who seems to understand what she's going through.'
A source close to her official camp insists Cheryl's not having a meltdown or feeling ill and is busy working.
