Alleged Giffords Shooter Judged Incompetent To Stand Trial

Today a judge ruled that Jared Loughner is not competent to stand trial for the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and the killing of six others. The judge said that experts had diagnosed Loughner with schizophrenia, disordered thinking, and delusions, and that he would not be able to understand his own trial. He was removed from today's hearing after rocking repeatedly in his chair and exclaiming either "Thanks for the freak show" or "Thanks for the free jail."
