TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and the network hopes to film the family again in the future.

“TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation,” the network said in a statement Wednesday. “All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC. “

Sources say the network “hopes they will soon be able to film the family again,” but has ruled out the Jon & Kate Plus 8 show.

TLC had filed a lawsuit against Jon Gosselin for breach of contract, because he made paid and unpaid appearances without the network’s permission. This appearances violated Gosselin’s agreement with TLC.

Then Jon Gosselin turned around and filed a $5-million counterclaim, stating TLC had damaged his career by preventing him from working with other media outlets. Gosselin had also forbidden the network from filming his eight children with Kate Gosselin.

The network said the terms of the settlement are “confidential.”

Kate Gosselin will reportedly debut her TLC series sometime later this year.
