Hey Everyone….ME again!!! Remember I mentioned I had been working on a new file???? Wellllll, I finally got it tweeked to the point I’m very happy with it….What is it you ask??? Well, it’s a Hat Box….I had a request to see if I could come up with a cut file for this so I took the challenge……
So here’s the mock up of what I came up with…….

The top rectangle with the notches out of it……is the round base of the bottom….you form into a circle…the bottom pieces get folded so they will sit on top of the large round circle..and glue or double stick it to the circle base……….the six sided piece will then get glued to the inside bottom of the base…..
Then I took the other rectangle piece and wrapped it around the base of the box bottom to decide how snug to make the top piece……glue the top piece….slide it off the bottom base….set on the counter then I took the remaining circle piece (decorative side down) and push through the opening of the top base you just glued until it touched the table…..then run a bead of glue all along the inside edge and allow to sit until dry………once it’s dried you now have your top piece of the hat….you can add ribbon or embellies to hide the seam if you like…..as you can see with my pics above…you don’t really see it……
I then added my own choice of embellishments to finish off the hat……So, I would love to hear what you think about it……for a simple file I really love the impact of the cute box!!!
