I also wanted to create some type of a banner type look to use as a layer on the card part....so I created this file myself as well........you can see it in the picture above.....The focal part of this side of the swing...the flag and the men is a black and white image I printed on to watercolor paper with my laser color printer and then colored with my watercolor pencils...then kissed the edges with 2 different color Tim Holt'z distress inks then stippled the entire piece with a vintage color distress ink to give the paper and aged look like the larger part of the card.....I layered behind this image some burgandy cardstock that I ran through my sizzix with an embossing sleeve and behind that a blue layer......I did the same type thing for the other side of the swing only this was an image I had that was already colored......
The flag on the left edge of the card I cut an extra one out and used foam dots to bring it up off the page tied a ribbon around and added a few stars and whola!!! The card is done!!! I then used the same image I used for the card whole and resized to fit my large format printer paper and then printed and cut with my 5x6 envelope template I've previously shared......
I am TOTALLY thrilled with the way this swing card came out and can see me making more of these in the future....now that I have the template made it will be easy peasy!!!! Okie Dokie....IF any of you would like to have these files I created today you know the routine....either click the image or the designated area!!! I really hope some of you enjoy these files!!!!
