I know it's Been a While....

Since I've posted my friends.....I've so missed it but had alot going on for a few days.....I was one of the wonderful ones who tried installing the Beta version of Windows 7.....hummmmmmmmm.....lets just say not everything is tweeked enough for me yet....so I spent 3 days reloading everything on my computer......Thank GOODNESS I have all my important items, ie....pictures, files, documents.....yada yada yada on a seperate drive!!!

So since I FINALLY have that accomplished I was able to put my concentrations back to the Scrapbook I'm working on for my boss and her family......Here's my latest creation.......I wanted it to be fun cause we all know how much fun Go Kart Racing can be, right!!!!.........So, here's what I came up with.........

I'm not quite sure if you'll be able to see it but there is ALOT of cutting that was done on this page and it was ALL done with my creative hand and my Cricut E!!!! Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE my Cricut!!!! :) I could probably be the poster child for them!! hehehe...well, that and my INKSCAPE AND SCAL that I just CANNOT live without!!! Ok, so now...back to the page......I had watched a tutorial from an amazing ARTist that gave steps to cut an exact image from a photo and it was FUN!!!!!!

So as you can see, I went from the tutorial and wonderful ideas just started flowing...I just LOVE it when that happens!!!!



Now the racetrack and the speak box I drew free hand in inkscape and cut from there......the white dashes and border on the track I drew on myself with a white pen.........I'm attaching the bubble file and the racetrack cut files if anyone is interested in them.......I think the phrase I came up with for this is cute!!! I certainly hope they think so!!!
