Engagement rumors always seem to be circling Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, but apparently this time the Patriots quarterback actually popped the question.
People announced today that Brady, 31, proposed to his super model girlfriend this past weekend in Los Angeles with a diamond solitaire ring, and she accepted.
There were reports over the holidays that Tom had proposed, but his father denied it claiming it was nothing but a "rumor, rumor, rumor. We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me."
A source close to them (aka: their rep) confirm the engagement to People magazine.
"He asked and she accepted," said the source. "The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home.
The engagement must have been in the works for a while now because Tom was checking out wedding reception locations back in October.
